Brian Cook

BRIAN COOK, joined the trio in 2001. Raised in Chattanooga, he has been a member of the Chattanooga Symphony for the past 12 years. While he was in the Chattanooga Youth Orchestra, he won the 1991 concerto competition, earning him the privilege of being a soloist with the Chattanooga Symphony that year. He has performed in master classes for several well-known violinists including performing for the Cleveland (Ohio) String Quartet Chamber Music workshops. He has attended the Sewanee Summer Music Center, and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. His primary teachers include Ann Rylands and Don Zimmer, the CSO concertmaster. Mr. Cook is also on the faculty of the First Baptist Church School Of Fine Arts.
